We went to France today, which means I got some car knitting done. I have a new hat to show for it and some pastries in the fridge:)
It was a very nice pattern. Pioneer Peak is named after a mountain I used to pass all the time when I lived in Alaska. It was a easy pattern to knit. However, I think the stitch count in the decrease section might be wrong. I was off by two stitches. I cannot remember if it was two stitches too many or too few, but my rows always ended correctly despite having the wrong number of stitches. Then all the sudden when I was supposed to have 24 stitches, I had 24 stitches! I am not exactly sure what happened, but it turned out well. I knit it in Malabrigo Mecha in the Teal Feather colorway. I love this hat!
