This year was supposed to be the year of the sock, well it ended up being the year of the shawl. I am wondering what 2010 will be. I am hoping it is the year of the sweater and the year of the great stashdown. Time will tell though. Right now I am eying the year with a lot of enthusiasm. Though I do want to get a lot of WIPs off the needles. I have a little bit of time off this weekend so we will see. I should be traveling a bit too but who knows what the rules will be thanks to people who try to blow up their crotches… regardless I have high hopes.

For my stashdown, I think there needs to be a program. The first step is admitting that you have a problem right? Check, I have a problem with yarn and I need to get it under control. So what is the next step? Not buying yarn when the husband says you can and you are at a great yarn store? Check. How about not renewing yarn clubs? Okay I have done that too. Now I am trying to remember that there will always be nice yarns when I see something nice. I need to remember that, there will always be nice yarns, there will always be nice yarns.

So what is the next step?
