Chili and Sweaters

Today my car said it was 91 degrees. I tend to believe my car on these things. It is amazing to thing that one year ago it was reading -20. I am not sure what the car thinks about the temperature changes. Now even though it was hot outside I decided to make chili today and cornbread. Here is a picture of the cornbread, the chili picture didn’t turn out very well… Honestly the cornbread one isn’t too hot either, but I wanted to prove that I made it:)

I also finished the baby sweater I started on the first. Four days turn around isn’t too bad considering I have to work and I was taking care of the sick Babykins. Here is the finished sweater:

I made the same one a little while ago for Ernesto’s cousin. It is a good color for when you have no idea whether the baby will be a girl or a boy. Speaking of babies, I should probably start knitting for my own…

We just had chili too – YUMMMMMM. šŸ™‚ What recipe do you use?

PS – hope it gets a little less hot (not necessarily COLD) soon!

The sweater is lovely! It was a quick turnaround time. I guess I just have too many projects going on and that's why it takes me so long to finish one.

I can't believe the unseasonably warm weather we are having!!
