Today Ernesto and I are in Wyoming. We are right outside the Colorado border in F E Warren AFB. The base looks really nice, but the city outside of it, Cheyenne does not. Tomorrow we are going to see if Ernesto can be seen at the clinic on base. Trying to get an off-base referral is like me winning the lotto, it just isn’t going to happen, so here we are.
Today we went to Little Bighorn. It was pretty interesting. As much as we liked Montana, I don’t think we can say the same about Wyoming… I went to a sad little yarn store in Casper today. I think should have held out for the stores in Denver. I did get some local llama yarn though. Not sure what to do with it, but I liked the idea of having a project to remember me of this trip like I did when I bought the silk yarn in Germany.
There were a TON of deer next to the road the whole trip. They make me super nervous, but in the end it wasn’t the deer, but a flat tire that got us. Luckily my car warns you when your tire is losing air otherwise we may have not stopped at the tire place we stopped at. It was in the middle of nowhere in Montana. To make it even better I asked the guy fixing the tire how far Cheyenne was and he said he had never traveled that far. I must say wow to that.
Anyway I am still too lazy to post any pictures. The wifi is really slow everywhere I seem to go. But Texas is only a few days away. I hope to find a house quickly and then eagerly await my little Babykins return from exile in Florida. I miss the little guy so much!!!!!!!!!!
