This hat is really beautiful. I'm kind of a hat-luster and the addition of tiny beads make the whole hat scrumptious. I'm such an impatient knitter that I would have to steel myself to start with a bead project—is it easy or hard to learn?
It isn't hard at all, it just took some time… My friend Staceyfish had some trouble with bunching, but she thinks it is because she pulled the YOs too much. I have pretty even tension so I didn't have a problem. The beads were the hardest part (putting them on the yarn not working with them later…) and you don't have to use them. I made one for my sister in law without them.
